Lady & the Gentlewoman
brand strategy and identity design for a lifestyle brand committed to empowering couples to live a more balanced life through healthy relationships.
CONTEXT
Allie (lady) & Becca (the gentlewoman) parterned with us at White and Salt to establish a foundational brand strategy that gave them the confidence to move forward with focus towards their goals.
We peeled back the layers of their initial objectives and unearthed their mutual values, UVPs, positioning, audience, and market landscape to create a clear and unified path forward.
From there, we developed visuals that felt homey, refined, nostalgic, and elegant. A loose handwritten wordmark was designed along with a whimsical monogram. The color palette was inspired by the ingredients they use in their recipes, and the typography took a modern approach, drawing influence from packaging found in Allie’s home country of Italy.
