Beyond Form – Peter Zumthor Exhibition

︎ exhibition branding

︎ student project

This project included the task of researching an architect and promoting a hypothetical exhibit of their work. The goal was to refine/expand my process and design prowess in a complex system that reflected yet did not overshadow the architects work.

Peter Zumthor’s work is a testament to the power of simple materials. For him and his architecture, this was often wood or concrete. As a graphic designer, the simplest material available to me is paper. Inspired by Zumthor’s use of materials, I took printer paper and crafted a system that celebrates his body of work while hinting at the beauty of simple shapes and poetry of light.

Biggest Takeaway ︎︎︎

The possibilities of humble materials are endless.
